5. SULTAN OMAR ALI SAIFUDDIN MOSQUE

Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque is a mosque located in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of the Sultanate of Brunei. Named after and initiated by the 28th Sultan of Brunei, the mosque unites architectural styles from Mughal and Malay style. Built in a lagoon, with a marble minarets and a dome covered in pure gold. There's no wonder it's one of the beautiful Mosque in Asia Pacific.

4. FAISAL MOSQUE, ISLAMABAD

Located in the National Capital of Islamabad, Pakistan, Faisal Mosque was one of the largest Mosque in the world from 1986 to 1993. Named after and supported by King Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia, shaped like a dessert Bedouin's tent designed by a Turkish Architect Vedat Dalokay. Built to accomodate 265,000 at it's maximum capacity, no doubt it was the biggest mosque.

Al Aqsa Mosque translates into 'The Farthest Mosque', is one of the 3 most holiest site in Islam, located in the Old City of Jerusalem. Al Aqsa Mosque is situated along with the Dome of the Rock, Four Minarets and Seventeen Gates. Started as a small prayer house, it expanded in 705 CE. Muslims believe that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was transported from the Sacred Mosque in Mecca to the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Night Journey.

Al Masjid An-Nabawi situated in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, is the second holiest site in Islam and often called 'Prophet's Mosque'. It is the second mosque built in history, and currently, one of the largest mosque in the world. The Green Dome is one of the significant part of the mosque, it's where the tomb of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is located.

It is the largest mosque in the world surrounding the Kaaba. It is able to accommodate up to 4 million worshippers during the Hajj period. The mosque is where the Kaaba, the Black Stone, Maqam Ibrahim, Al-Safa & Al-Marwa and Zam Zam Well. Thus, it is the holiest site in Islam.
